Jeff Bezos Amazon Is The Most Valuable Publically Traded Company

Amazon  joined the exclusive $1 trillion club last year but it looks like Jeff Bezos' behemoth is continuing the dominance by showing us its stock market dominance.

Jeff Bezos’ e-commerce giant Amazon, accumulated $797 billion in market value on Monday, ending the day trading up 3.4 percent at $1,629.51 per share and overtaking Microsoft  to become the most valuable publicly-traded company in the U.S.

Microsoft, also not sitting down, it shot past Apple to nab the title on Nov. 28, closed up .1 percent at $102.06 per share Monday with a market capitalization of $783 billion. According to Fortune, November was the first time in eight years that Microsoft successfully outpaced Apple in the stock market, following concerns surrounding Apple’s growth.

Apple, is having it's own share of troubles and about $56 Billion behind Alphabet, the Google's parent company. Alphabet had a roughly $756 billion market cap Monday afternoon, while Apple’s hovered around $700 billion.

“While we anticipated some challenges in key emerging markets, we did not foresee the magnitude of the economic deceleration, particularly in Greater China,” Cook wrote in the letter. “In fact, most of our revenue shortfall to our guidance, and over 100 percent of our year-over-year worldwide revenue decline, occurred in Greater China across iPhone, Mac and iPad.”

In 2019 we will see  Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet and Apple playing stock racing even though Apple seem to be needing some gas.

Coming Out, In Apple Way

We salute you Mr. Cook!

"For years, I've been open with many people about my sexual orientation, Plenty of colleagues at Apple know I'm gay, and it doesn't seem to make a difference in the way they treat me. " Apple CEO Tim Cook wrote in a powerful personal essay, published Thursday in Businessweek.

Whatever it is, Cook has done millions a favor, it does matter when a public figure like him come out but Mashable has a much better piece on the subject.

Apple using Social Networking sites to promote iTunes.

Apple seem to want to ride the social networking and web 2.0 vehicle for free. It has not invested on any Social networking sites like Facebook or MySpace but it is using the shear popularity of iTunes and iTunes users to promote itself. I would say now iTunes users are creating adlets to be placed on social network sites, users blogs and web sites.

How about a free song for every 5 referal?

Apple is offering iTunes users three new Web tools to let them promote music through social networking Websites such as Facebook or MySpace, or their blogs and Websites.

The three available My iTunes tools offer users tools to publish information about iTunes purchases, reviews or favorite artists. The tools are Web widgets which users add to their pages.

The widgets can also provide information pertaining to film or TV shows downloaded through the service.

The tools are available from within the iTunes Store. Navigate to the store in iTunes, access your account information and you'll find controls to enable the three new Web widgets, which include:

My iTunes Purchases: This widget tracks your most recently purchased music, music videos, TV shows and films.

My iTunes Reviews: This widget tracks any music or video you have assigned a four or five star rating too on iTunes.

My iTunes Favorites: This collects together those artists by which you have purchased the most music from iTunes.

Is your Apple Green? I don't think so

Everything i from apple, such an innovative company, (By the way I love Apple products) is not Green. When I saw the Greenpeace website I was appalled. How could a such a progressive company like Apple do such a nasty things to our world, our society.
Greenmyapple.org has a load of info that I think apple should be ashamed of. If they did not know better, it is never too late to do. All the Apple followers will be happier and may be the few Zune buyers will convert t iPOD if they realize that Apple do care for the society and the world.
Since I do not ant to make any mistakes in repeating what greenmyapple.org says, I would like to visit the site, learn what it is about what Apple is doing wrong and promote the campaign. Follow the links below.
