My earliest social network was our neighborhood library. I would spend hours during the weekend (saturday) choosing books to read for next week. Over time you develop relationships. The librarian knows what you like to read. You get to know other kids, you fight over books, you reserve books.
I think the the first business card I ever received was the calling card from our librarian. Anyway this post is about a library. How about 75000+ free HTML books, over 400000 PDF books just like in the neighborhood library, categorized according to Subjects or genre. 120+ categories!
It certainly mad me smile.
