Doodle For Google 2018 - “What inspires me…” US Winner Six Year Old Sarah Gomez-Lane.

Today wesee a small but bright and happy 6-year-old Virginia girl who followed her dreams competed and won the Doodle for Google which earned her national recognition and a $30,000 scholarship from Google.
Google has selected second-grader Sarah Gomez-Lane to be the winner for her interactive dinosaur doodle submitted for the 2018 Doodle for Google contest. Her Doodle for Google is currently on display at the Google doodle page.

Sarah won out of 182,000 entries sent in by US competitors to the theme “What inspires me…” . In addition to her reward of $30,000 in scholarship funds for college, her school, Pine Spring Elementary School in Falls Church, will receive $50,000 in funds to spend on technology, Google said.

Jeff Bezos Amazon Is The Most Valuable Publically Traded Company

Amazon  joined the exclusive $1 trillion club last year but it looks like Jeff Bezos' behemoth is continuing the dominance by showing us its stock market dominance.

Jeff Bezos’ e-commerce giant Amazon, accumulated $797 billion in market value on Monday, ending the day trading up 3.4 percent at $1,629.51 per share and overtaking Microsoft  to become the most valuable publicly-traded company in the U.S.

Microsoft, also not sitting down, it shot past Apple to nab the title on Nov. 28, closed up .1 percent at $102.06 per share Monday with a market capitalization of $783 billion. According to Fortune, November was the first time in eight years that Microsoft successfully outpaced Apple in the stock market, following concerns surrounding Apple’s growth.

Apple, is having it's own share of troubles and about $56 Billion behind Alphabet, the Google's parent company. Alphabet had a roughly $756 billion market cap Monday afternoon, while Apple’s hovered around $700 billion.

“While we anticipated some challenges in key emerging markets, we did not foresee the magnitude of the economic deceleration, particularly in Greater China,” Cook wrote in the letter. “In fact, most of our revenue shortfall to our guidance, and over 100 percent of our year-over-year worldwide revenue decline, occurred in Greater China across iPhone, Mac and iPad.”

In 2019 we will see  Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet and Apple playing stock racing even though Apple seem to be needing some gas.

"Black Girl Magic Texas, Is Happening" Seventeen African American Female Judges Sworn In.

The group of women, who were part of a local democratic campaign called "Black Girl Magic Texas," shook the Texas when they won their respective midterm elections in November. Although seem to be another election win, today they make up what is believed to be the largest group of black female judges to be elected at the same time in Harris County's history.

Harris County, which includes Houston, is the largest county in the state. According to the most recent census data, 43% of people in Harris County are Hispanic, and nearly 20% of the county's residents identify as African-American.

The Harris County Democratic Party posted photos of the swearing-in ceremony, which took place on Tuesday morning.
"We made history in Harris County on November 6 by electing a talented group of individuals who reflect the people and communities we serve. That would not have been possible without the support of the residents of Harris County." said County Judge Lina Hidalgo, who was also sworn in on Tuesday.
