Senate Votes Down Keystone Oil Pipeline Construction

The U.S. Senate narrowly voted down construction of the
controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline bill with a vote of 59-41 on
Tuesday, falling one vote shy of the threshold. The pipeline would carry petroleum from Canada to Gulf Coast refineries,with no real benefit to Americans.
